911 commission -- what are they building in there?
Anytime I can reference, even obliquely, Tom Waits, I have to. Ellis Henican out of Newsday ask the question: "what are they so afraid of?" in his latest editorial on the 911 panel. He lays out an interesting good cop, bad cop and brief timeline for the panel's work, but ends on a rather optimistic note: Come July, it'll be interesting to see what they're all so scared about. Ellis, you're assuming you'll be able to see what they've created. I have a feeling most of the most interesting and pertinent info will be buried deep in the foundation never to see the light of day.
