Disgusting

Congress denied the 9/11 extension. They are worried that the findings could be used against Bush in November. I think Kristen Breitweiser, whose husband was killed , has it right, "It took six months of negotiations before some commissioners were allowed to see copies of the president's daily intelligence briefings from the period before the attacks, and "To say that politics is going to stand in the way of national security is just disgusting," she said. "It's not our fault that we're in an election year. President Bush could have established this commission Sept. 12, 2001." And the god-damn cherry on top? Commission spokesman Al Felzenberg said. "We'll cut whatever corners we can." Yea, great, another JFK conspiracy in the making. Not only that, but a reasonable person would think that they'd get this damn thing right since it was the "biggest" crime committed against Americans since Pearl Harbor.
