Iraq war illegal? No....
Now I don't know about you, but I want to read these legal documents. British troops could be still tried for war crimes, which was one of their main concerns prior to invading. Of course, Americans do not subscribe to those laws so we will not be effected though both leaders find themselves in a recent lawsuit by anti-war activists (A coalition of groups opposed to the US-led invasion of Iraq says it intends to take legal action for "mass murder" against British Prime Minister Tony Blair and US President George Bush before the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague). This leads back to the question: why did Blair go along with this? Politically this has been devastating. What was he going to gain? If anyone has an idea, I'd love to know.
