Jim Crow meet Rod Paige
I suggest everyone send our esteemed Education General Rod Paige this report on current segregation problems in our schools. It looks like quite a few of our students are getting left behind. I know it's because they listen to hip-hop and glorify drugs (who doesn't?) but there could be a little more to it than that -- though you won't hear about it in our news. A quick search on CNN I found these enlightening headlines on the devil, on dropping out (and I don't mean acid -- rather making kids accountable), and of course the ever-so-important story about a drunk running over and dragging some poor slob 8 freakin' miles. Nothing about the report of segregation of our schools nor why it is a serious issue. Onward entertainment -- news you don't have to use, ever.
