more on the protest
Here's some pictures of the detainees on the pier. Does anyone else find it odd that they are called detainees, just like those people in Cuba? Even the authorities are allowing it to be branded that way. It looks like the strategy to arrest people just to get them off the streets and out of the press was intentional -- even MTV is calling it that way.
